S&P Revises Meta Outlook to Negative on Concerns Over Cash Flow and Capex
02 Nov 2026 10:01
S&P Global Ratings revised the outlook on Meta Platforms, Inc. (META.US) to negative given concerns over cash flow and AI spending.

The ratings agency said on Friday that the outlook reflects the "uncertainty" arising from Meta's elevated capex and negative free cash flow.

When announcing its 3Q results last week, Meta said it expects full-year capex to range between USD135 billion and USD145 billion. The company also recorded negative free cash flow of USD2.12 billion, marking the first time it has turned negative.
